Socialization to Minimize Over Dimension Over Load in Mitra Samsam Tabanan Village

Abstract

Socialization to minimize ODOL in Sam-Sam Tabanan partner villages. Socialization activities are expected to increase public awareness and understanding regarding. This activity aims to reduce the risk of freight transport accidents and create strong safety in society. In this socialization, several activities were carried out such as distributing brochures and pamphlets containing about ODOL, interactive interviews between lecturers, cadets and the community regarding goods transportation used by the community. The method used in this paper is a field survey method with a qualitative approach. The results of the socialization show that the majority of people had a low level of knowledge about ODOL before participating in this socialization. However, after participating in the campaign, there was a significant increase in public understanding and awareness regarding the dangers of ODOL. This socialization activity to minimize ODOL also succeeded in creating positive changes in people's behavior. The public is expected to have broader insight into ODOL and the regulations regarding the transportation of goods in the law as guidelines for transporting goods according to applicable standards and procedures.
