Public transportation is one type of transportation mode that concerns many people's lives. However, the use of public transportation, especially in Indonesia, is currently very minimal. This is caused by the increase in the number of private vehicles that exceed the limit it often causes problems, especially traffic problems such as congestion. People who have private vehicles such as motorbikes, or cars, or can use taxis will rarely take public transportation. Those who have no choice but to take public transportation have a desire to own a private vehicle. If they can buy a private vehicle, they will no longer depend on public transportation. It is feared that if this is allowed to happen, the existence of public transportation may gradually fade away. Based on this, it is clear that socialization on public transportation is needed to provide knowledge about the use of public transportation.

Preventive Measures for Adolescent Traffic Accidents Through Safety Vehicle Extension Activities

The increase in transportation needs has an impact on increasing the number of accidents, which are dominated by human error factors. Preventive measures are needed to prevent traffic violations. The purpose of this activity is to provide counseling to high school students about safe vehicles. The method used in the activity is direct counseling with discussion and question and answer methods. The target of this activity is the 54 students of SMA Negeri 1 Kediri, Tabanan-Bali. The material presented consists of 4 parts, namely: 1) driving preparation; 2) Driving Attitude; 3) Rules on the Highway; and 4) traffic violations. In addition to the presentation of the material using the question and answer method, quizzes were also given as material for further discussion. The results obtained by the students looked enthusiastic and able to learn well. This can be seen from the increase in the average value of the Pre-Test to the Post-Test value. Improved understanding of driving well, is expected to increase awareness and discipline of students in driving so as to reduce the number of traffic accidents by teenagers.

Accidents can happen anytime and anywhere without us knowing. Ignorance and ignorance of drivers regarding safety aspects when driving is something that must be addressed. Data obtained from the Korlantas Polri in 2021 the number of accidents from 2016 to 2020 involving motorbikes was 74.54% where the age of the victims included students, students and young workers as many as 56,187 people or 43.06%. Driving safety is very important for us to know and implement as soon as possible to reduce the number of accidents. Educating the public on the importance of safe driving is very necessary in order to provide education to the community, especially those who are still teenagers. Community Service Activities (PkM) were carried out at SMAN 1 Tabanan with the method of counseling participants. The participants of this PkM activity are students from the school. Participants will be given material related to technical aspects and vehicles that are safe on the highway in the hope of increasing participants' knowledge regarding technical aspects and aspects of driving safety.

The negative impact caused by this is an increase in the number of traffic accidents, according to data from the Directorate General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation, in 2020 when viewed from the profile of traffic accident victims based on education level, the biggest victims are students with a high school education level as much as 80,641 people. The background of the importance of the speedometer in vehicles is the safety factor, because a good driver always pays attention to the comparison of the speed of the vehicle he is driving with the condition of the road or terrain traversed. With a good and correct speedometer, the driver can calculate the speed that is adjusted to the existing situation and conditions. The purpose of this PKM activity is to provide information and understanding of the importance of the speedometer function on a motorcycle as a means of controlling speed while driving which later is expected to make students able to drive safely and safely while at the same time reducing the rate of traffic accidents, especially the productive age range (17 to 25). year). The method used is to conduct socialization and practice in the field. During the PKM activity until the end, the students were very enthusiastic about participating in the entire series of activities and hoped that these activities could be carried out regularly every year. Hopefully what has been given can have a positive and useful impact.

In this current era, Community Service (PKM) is a very useful thing to improve people's quality of life, heavy traffic on the road creates a lot of risk of accidents, especially high school students who still need a lot of understanding about road safety including knowing everything. symbolic of roads and regulations on highways, one of which needs to be known is the cargo of dangerous goods that require special handling, all goods and types of goods and their conditions endanger the safety and health of the public, through several lecturers and cadets involved, Land Transportation Polytechnic Bali carries out community service activities to SMA 1 Baturiti Tabanan Regency by referring to the information on Dangerous Goods in increasing students' knowledge about the cargo of dangerous goods. With this PkM socialization, the expected goal is to increase students' awareness of safety in their environment and to know the transportation of dangerous goods and to know the function and purpose of the Placard display in the vicinity, because if they do not know the dangers of dangerous goods, they will pose a threat to the safety of students. This activity is carried out using the mediation method with counseling which aims to increase understanding and awareness about the cargo of Dangerous Goods.
